Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Pengiran Omar or SMKPO is a secondary school located at the town of Sipitang, in the Interior Division of the state of Sabah, Malaysia. Its original site was in a shoplot area in Sipitang town. In 1968, the building was destroyed due to typhoon, hence it is relocated to the current location near Kampung Pelakat Sipitang. In 1973, the school was upgraded to a Government Secondary School and the school's name was changed to Sekolah Menengah Pengiran Omar Sipitang in order to commemorate Pengiran Omar bin Syaifuddin for contributing to the local economy. The school was nominated to be a smart school in 1999.
